Mouchette reinvents the tailored vest in a short, feminine version . Inspired by menswear, this piece can be worn over a light blouse or a flowing dress , or with pleated trousers for a distinctly boyish look.

Its sheath (or drawstring) construction and its false piped pocket make it an ideal project for learning tailoring techniques — perfect for understanding how to make a first slit pocket.
